In July of 2023 I completed my Ph.D. in Clinical Sexology from Modern Sex Therapy Institutes. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. I have a Master of Social Work (www.naswdc.org) degree and I provide mental health counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups attempting to alleviate the symptoms of depression, anxiety, family conflict, social rejection, and physical/sexual dysfunctions. For those patients who struggle with traumatic issues or chronic pain, I am able to offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing - www.emdr.com).
I am an AASECT (American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists - www.aasect.org) Certified Diplomat Sex Therapist and I can help you understand that your sexual health is directly affected by your physical health, relationships with other people, and your mental well-being. I am also a Sex Therapist Supervisor, offering supervision to become a Certified Sex Therapist to other professionals.
I am a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist/Supervisor and Certified Multiple Addiction Therapist (www.sexhelp.com, www.sash.net, www.iitap.com). I work with individuals who struggle with sexual addiction or anorexia. I also work with the co-addicts or spouses of sexual addicts. I offer individual counseling and therapeutic support groups. This is the recommended format for out-patient counseling along with a 12 Step Program such as SAA, or Sex Addicts Anonymous (www.saa-recovery.org).
I am a Traditional and Karuna™ Reiki Master and Teacher (www.iarp.org, www.reiki.org). Reiki is an ancient Japanese healing art to rebalance the body's energy systems or chakras. Reiki reconnects the body's energy to universal energy and it may relieve stress, tension, emotional issues, and physical ailments.
As a Certified Massage Therapist, I offer NET/NRT, which are muscle testing techniques. NET (Neuro Emotional Technique - www.mindbody.com) is a methodology used to normalize unresolved physical and behavioral patterns in the body. NRT (Nutritional Response Testing) is a health evaluation to identify if there is a reason the body is not getting well.
